For such a young man, he has very wise and serious features.
Standing 6'0", he is an impressive figure, with a muscular build and an authoritative way of carrying himself. He is tanned, from many hours in the sun on the deck of his ship. He wears practical, loose fitting clothes, in earth tones. He often threads beads into his hair, in Gyptian fashion. Special abilities: N/A
Likes: The sea, his friends, music, fighting, being free
Dislikes: Idiots, braggarts, the Magisterium, feeling trapped, being alone
Fears: His friends dying, the thought of Adara being hurt
Interests: Sailing, trading, music
Personality: Zeke, first and foremost, is very loyal. Loyal to his fellow Gyptians and loyal to his friends. This is part of the reason why Adara settled into a Lioness: a pack animal. He enjoys spending time with his friends more than anything in the world, and feels uncomfortable when on his own. He will stop at nothing to save or protect someone that he loves.
Zeke likes to party, joke, and have fun, but is primarily serious. He loves feeling free, and taking pride in knowing that no one holds his leash, and that he is free to do as he pleases. When dealing with people who he doesn't get along with, he can be unnecessarily cold and disdainful. He is also not particularly trusting of people he doesn't know. When fighting, he is ruthless, and fearless.
Daemon's name: Adara
Species: Lioness
Gender: Female
Appearance: Adara’s fur is soft and tan. She has similar features to a regular lioness, with pointy ears, long whiskers, and a strong jaw. Her eyes are burning amber, like two bright suns. Eyes are immediately to drawn to them, and are her most distinguishing feature. Her teeth are long, razor sharp, and ivory white.

Personality: Overall, Adara’s personality is the comparable as Zeke’s. She is dependable on her pride, and hates being alone even more than Zeke. She is not, by any means, a lone cat. Although, she loves being with people and Daemons, she rarely speaks to anyone but Zeke. Both she and Zeke appear indifferent and fearless, but they also spend time with just each other, and he always confides in her, and she is almost a mother figure in his life.
She has also has a mother’s fierce protectiveness of Zeke. When fighting, she is vicious, brutal, and merciless. In their entire lifetime, Zeke has killed four men. Adara has killed seven, through their Daemons. Just like her counterpart, Adara will never back down from a challenge, and is even more impulsive than Zeke, in some ways.
Family lineage: Drago Faa (Father)
Kathryn Faa (mother)
Valyrie Faa (Sister)
History: Ezekiel Faa was born on his father’s ship, on the way back to their homeland: Eastern Anglia. Adara, as his Daemon was named, took the initial form of a newly born kitten, tiny, with her eyes tightly shut. She climbed over Zeke, nuzzling him and transforming into a small bear to keep him warm while he slept.
Zeke took his first steps on a boat, and had to get used to walking on solid ground. His father was the Gyptian King, so Zeke was taken on all the important voyages. Growing up, he and Adara often played with the children who lived in Jordan College, when Drago was trading in Oxford.
They had mud wars, climbed trees, and bothered the scholars. Even then, Zeke was the leader of the Gyptian kids, and led them to many a triumph. In those energetic years, Adara often took the form of a wildcat or dog. She wouldn’t transform for long, however.
An early bloomer, Zeke’s Daemon settled when he was thirteen, finally taking the shape of a powerful, motherly lioness. According to Gyptian custom, Zeke now joined his father as a regular crewman, helping to the keep the boat running, participating in trades, and, if the need be, fighting alongside his father.
And, after eight years of working hard and growing up, the need arose. One of the other Gyptian groups snuck aboard Drago’s ship when it was docked at Jordan College for the Spring Fair. They stole many of the goods Drago had acquired, through fair trading. When Drago found out that it had been fellow Gyptians, he was enraged.
Drago’s boat followed the other Gyptian group when they left Oxford, determined to take revenge. He pursued them long and far, and just when he had almost given up, their boat was attacked in the dead of night by the other Gyptians. Zeke and Adara fought bravely, downing many an enemy, and Drago’s crew managed to defeat the rival ship.
It was not without cost, however. Drago had taken a knife wound to the back, from an adversary to cowardly to face him. Drago bled to death on his ship. When the culprit was found amongst the captured prisoners, he was taken back up to the deck. He was given a sword, and given the choice of an honorable death, or simple execution. He chose the duel. Gyptian custom dictates that the heir must destroy his predecessor’s killer, so Zeke was the other combatant.
In a space of two minutes, Zeke had disarmed the coward. He and Adara did the honors together, Zeke impaling his opponent with his blade, Adara ripping his Daemon’s throat out with her long canine teeth. By defeating and slaying his father’s murderer, Zeke officially became the King of the Gyptians.
Role-play sample: Zeke stared at the man in front of him, his eyes filled with cold fury. The man was sniveling, his dog Daemon shaking. “Murderer…” Zeke breathed, raising the cutlass and advancing slowly. He lunged towards his opponent, who sidestepped the blow, backing up as fast as he could. “Defend yourself.” Adara rumbled. Zeke swung his fist back and struck the man as hard as he could.
The murderer toppled over, and Zeke was tempted to finish him right then, but he restrained. He wanted to give the man a chance to fight for his life. Realizing that death stared him in the eyes, the man decided to do something about it. Getting up as quickly as he could, he attacked Zeke with a flurry of wild and desperate slashes and strikes.
Zeke parried each one, his mind on nothing but stopping one blow after another. He spun, cutting diagonally at his adversary. The man barely deflected it. Zeke followed up, grabbing his opponent’s sword hand, and driving his knee into the man’s stomach. Falling backwards, the murderer let go of his sword, which dropped neatly into Zeke’s left hand.
Helpless, the man scrambled on the deck of the ship, looking for a way out. But this time, there wasn’t one. Adara raised a massive paw, knocking the dog over with one swipe. Raising the two swords, Zeke plunged them into the killer’s chest. Adara clamped her jaws around the dog’s neck, shaking it like a rag doll. The man stopped breathing. The Daemon disintegrated in a flash of gold. There was a long moment of silence. “Get that thing disposed of.” Zeke gestured to the body. “Let’s get moving, my friends. We’ve got work to do!”
